Coffee In The Balcony

Applique medium 18x24 inch framed, black cotton on off white manjarpat cloth material. 2020 This piece of art was my first try with an applique medium. In the lockdown period I realised the importance of fresh air and open sky. Being a girl raised in small towns and big houses across the country, I don't really enjoy the life we live in tiny flats in Mumbai. That is the reason I prefer my evening coffee in the balcony. This artwork is dedicated to my time in the balcony with my plants and cat.
